The only small issues with this guitar are a couple of small dings and one smaller finish crack. Shows you how dedicated the builders where at Morris back in the day. The Greco also has a volute, while this Morris does not. The Greco has a 3 piece neck, while this Morris has a 1 piece neck. I also have a Greco seeking to replicate the Gibson model. The headstock also as “Morris” stamped where you would normally find a serial number on a guitar. These guitars came with a stinger from the factory at the time. The back of the head stock has a stinger, this is not a Headstock repair. The pickguard futures Abalone inlays within the flowers as you may see in the pictures. It is in truly beautiful condition considering that it’s a 50 year old instrument. This instrument seeks to replicate the Gibson SJ 200, and does so without any issue. This guitar is great proof of the master craftsmanship of the time in Japan. A truly wonderful Japanese handmade acoustic guitar.
